i know the 575,576,570 are strato charged.
a friend of mine talked me about a strato 372....
did they really changed the 372 to be strato?
-

nice,a single throttle body for 2 different mixtures in 2 different places. does it have the side transfer cover like the 359?

thanks for the pic. i like those covers, they are an easy access to play with the transfers shape. this is not the same setup as a 575. i dont see where are the "lean" transfer ducts

Those are some good pics helped me understand what was going on as well thanks.

These things are awesome runners too. No one who has run it misses the original. 8)

so,the 2 round shaped transfers that was connected directly to the case are gone

Is this what you are asking? or are you talking how the 570 575 576 have the strato holes in the crankcase?

The new 372XP X-Torq is definately stratofied. However, they built the saw off the same crankcase as the 372 we have always had. It does use a single venturi to feed both the clean air and the fuel charged air. The carb has a divider in it so that only one half of it takes on fuel. This divider continues through the intake duct and into the cylinder. I have not modified a 575, so can't really tell you how it compares. Hope that helps a little.
