Cool stuff.

So they sound like they are wound pretty tight. I am guessing around 18 to 20 thousand Rpm's.

There are two strokes and four strokes.
The two strokes are usually turning in excess of 20,000

Wow that is some revolutions.
-
Some of those engines will cross 30K RPM's. Astounding for a reciprocating engine.
-
Thats so cool !!!!
I turn over 40,000 rpm sometimes with electric motors on RC stuff.
Most times its 30-35k

The four strokes are the kings of the pulling contests.

The four strokes are the kings of the pulling contests.
I could see why too
-Lekkys overheat very quickly
-Nitros and 2 smokes rely on RPM's, loose them just a little and the pull is over

My son always watches this guy on youtube out of canada his name is alike rc sparks or djmedic. I watch r/c's with him a lot.
