Title: 562XP B/C Recommendations
Post by: KilliansRedLeo on March 09, 2014, 09:12:30 am
Having just purchased a 562 from Spike60, I am wondering what the consensus is on bars & chain for this saw. What are you all running?

Tsumura light and tough 24" would be nice on it.

The 20" TechLite was virtually made for that saw, and is the longest I would put on it for regualar use.

I just bough a 20" Tsumura Ligh&Tough for my 560xpg, as the 20" TechLite isn't isn't made for the small mount (yet).

I do not own a 562XP but from what I have seen of them, they seem to be a 20" chainsaw. If I have a need for a longer bar, I have bigger saws with the longer bars already on them.

Anything longer than a 20" bar would make the 562XP unhandy.

OK, Troll, or anyone else, where in the USA can I get a 20 inch tech-lite bar for less than my leg?

Yes, why not - and he may have other suggestions as well. ;)

B/C lengths only depend what models of saws you have in your stable.
Mine goes like this,
338-14"
346/550-16"
562-18"
372-22"to 24"
395-32" to 36".
The 562XP is perfect with a 18" setup in my stable.
