I did some digging around off and on here in the last month or so. Found out a zama C3-EL17 will work in it.(non epa) I found a C3-EL17B non epa also on ebay NIB. Is the zama C3-EL17 the same as a C3-EL17B ?? Please help or should I say will it bolt right up. It is for a husky 353 and a 346xp so they say the factory part number is to husky is 503283207. So let me know if it will work on my CS2152. or what non epa carb will work that I can buy new off of ebay.Yes I have it in for the epa on saws..lol..Well let me know what will work.Like I said I am look for new (NIB)

Do you have a primer on your 2152. If you don't the C3-EL17b will work out fine. If you have a primer I have not done the homework to find one. I think you will find that the only difference is the adjustment screws have limiter caps on the 18 and no caps on the 17. You could always just trim the tabs off your limiter caps and make it fully adjustable.

It does not have the primer on the saw. Great I will order the 17 next week. Thanks for the info.

I don't really see the point with mounting a non-EPA carb on the saw. As far as I know, the only difference is the limiters on the EPA carb, and tose can be deactivated easily anyway.

The reason is I can pick up the carb for 15 bucks new at a x jonsered dealer. He switch over to Dolmar when jonsred switched.Plus he is 2hr drive from me. He told me if I add 5 bucks to it he will ship it to me.I have known him for over 25 years. That is Y I asked if it would work. Being that it said on the parts look up it said C3-EL17 not C3-EL17B.. What does the B stand for???

Thanks

The lettering after the part number can mean almost anything from the next parts run to internal changes requested by the manufacturer/end user.  Dont worry too much about it.  As long as the carb model is designated for your unit, then your good to go.

Right, and the carb manufacturers doesn't refer to those letter designations in their manuals/part lists.
