I think the article is very interesting.  There is a tremendous amount of chainsaw/logging history with IEL and Pioneer.  I wonder if Mike Acres would comment on this?

Hi all.

The article offers a few questions -

1) Why is the image in article saw almost identical to Stihl BD    http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/ed1d619968136da688256af40002b8f7/089377e0e985901188256ba2000aeece?OpenDocument (http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/ed1d619968136da688256af40002b8f7/089377e0e985901188256ba2000aeece?OpenDocument)

2) Where is the at least number of U.S. patent Mr. James Shand

3) What date is the first Canadian patent chainsaw

4) Was Mr. A. Stihl really that big a plagiarist that started as a seller chainsaws Rinco and then copied the first Canadian / World saw

Final note - A. Stihl is not my favorite as pruducent first chainsaw
A.Stihl is not at all my favorite!
