is it possible the 5300 is a husky 353?
so i could put a 359 topend

Never had one in my hands. But blsnelling had one to get some pics of and said it was the same as the 353.

So whatever you can do to a husqvarna 353 I would say you could do to the Redmax 5300.   8)

A 346xp top end is a streight bolt on.

forget it, i just realised 353 and 359 dont have the same stroke...

It has been done on the 350, but it takes a lot work and mashinist skills + a 359 crank.....

dozerdan put a 357 top on a OE 346 once.  Before the 50cc 346's were out yet.
