Cut4 fun and I have used the Tygon for years because it has been easily available to us. So We haven't used anything else. There's a big store that sells it in town.
The far Eastern stuff can be as good or the next time you order is completely different and junk. In the past, you could not depend on the quality.
The Arnold and Stens after market products are all imported Chinese but the marketers themselves are USA importers that sort out the junk suppliers in most cases.

well its ordered now..... i have to say the stuff i been getting has not been lasting anywhere close to oem...... whats on the unit when you buy it new...... the grommets and air filter fuel filters are good for a season then crack or get hard and allow gas to leak.... been getting the stuff from mowers4u i think they are oregon or stens not sure ... but they are no where near oem...... i have switched to non ethanol gas so hope it helps.... here is a pic of a new grommet and filter i will post a pic tomorrow of what 11 months did.....

Good Report

I thought about buying some of those bulk primer bulbs to try out. 3 different styles. I am out of 1 style so getting close to deciding.
-
Ive been using the Chinese primer bulbs and they seem to be ok, but I think I will stick with the tygon line that has the name on it. The other fuel line that seems to hold up pretty well is the black Echo 90014 and 90015. 90014 is 3x5mm and 90015 is 3x6mm.
-
I been trying the both black echo line for impulse lines. Not long enough for any feedback yet.
-
update every thing i put this line in it lost integrity.....do not waste your money.... i had to know and now i do.......the primer bulbs have been ok as were cheap zama fuel filters ..... the fuel line is pure junk LOL.....
-
I ordered samples of the yellow tygon from farmertec, they could be easily crushed shut between finger and thumb on all sizes, I just threw them away, it looks like the grossly expensive Oregon stuff sitting on my shelf looking lonely but not the same stuff structurally at all
the primer bulbs I get direct from Zama, they are just fine but I did have one pop apart ( the snap in style) on a customer
-
having good luck with primer bulbs from carbtech21. still testing stens true blue fuel line still pleased with it $18.00 bucks 25 feet from ebay shipped.
-
i may try the true blue .... saw it for a good price ... think i may get echo black line also to go to the fuel filter..... makes it simple.....think the junk i bought was on ebay agape jelly something like that... ..it disintegrated..... will post pics of how it looks after 3-4 months time.....
-
Some of the grey colored and black fuel line I got on ebay has worked out well for me and seems to last for a good while. The only blue colored line that I have seen looked like vinyl to me.
-
IMO if it is from hong kong etc it is not genuine tygon. So I would even put the name tygon to the crap lines folks are complaining about.
IMO it is just aftermarket AFM yellow line.

Yep that was weird deal and was my last one on a saw build. Bad timing on a 350. You took care of me when I told you what happened. Thanks...................... 8)

im such a doofus forgot it was you, I keep notes on parts failures, but not who ended up with them :)
-
been testing stens true blue over six months now. Don't think it is vinyl
-

Yes page 6 of that thread is where I volunteered to test stens true blue and keep yall informed how it went. So far it performs great. At a reasonable price.
