i have a sole 611 single cylinder how do i remove the clutch it has broken springs ?
-
The clutch has left hand threads.
-
thanks i didnt know it didnt have a place for a socket or a special tool you know were i can get clutch springs ?
-
Solo parts are hard to come by.
Maybe you could take a picture of the clutch spider. Perhaps a Husqvarna tool may work?
I just stick a half inch impact air wrench on them with the proper tool and give it a spurt and off the clutch comes. Don't forget the threads are left hand.
I have taken them off with a 1/4" flat nose punch and a hammer but you have to have one of those rubber piston stops in the spark plug hole or stuff some starter cord in the combustion chamber to hold the crank still.
