Title: Echo Carb ID trouble
Post by: rayvil01 on March 29, 2015, 03:39:19 pm
I'm working on a Mantis tiller with an Echo engine.  I'm having a tough time identifying this carb.  It's a Zama.  The Body Type is C1U.  The only other markings on this carb are the L and H for the adjustments and "114" where the model number should be on that same side of the carb as the Body Type numbers and the adjustment screws.  There are no markings on the other side as their should be.    Looking at the Zuma pages their numbering system is the body type followed by a letter then a number like C1U-K54.  So, this doesn't add up.  If the "1's" are actually "I's" or lower-cased L's it still doesn't work as there are no model numbers like that.

I've pulled out the strongest magnifier I have and have looked this thing over a dozen times.

Anyone have experience with this that could help me out, please?

Thanks.

Thanks, Cut4fun. I've looked at all that.  I'm guessing it's a C1U-54K.  That seems to be the model on this piece of equipment.  Just bugs me to not be able to get the precise model off of the markings.

I appreciate it.
