What I am calling a 37" bar that I have here  (longer then my 36" echo 116DL bar). They show as a 36" bar 119DL / 120DL  in the D009 mount. 3/8 .063   A013.

Reason for my searching.

Never heard this before except on old rollernose bars.

SPROCKET NOSE BAR LUBRICANT
Tsumura Lubricant can be used for all types of
Sprocket Nose guide bars.
 Specially, formulated high-grade lubricant
withstand high temperatures and pressure.
Penetrates deep and lubricates bearing and inner
parts, reduces friction and wear.
Clean out grease hole and lubricate bearings hourly
when use
and ]lubricate at the end of the day’s
cutting.

Cannons are the same way for the D009 mount, they offer a 37" which is 119 drive links vs. the standard 36" at 116.

Shawn,
Can you grind different gauges of bar grooves. Say from .058 to .063?

I believe he told me he has a set up to do that. I was going to have a .050" ground to .063".

I noticed the rails on this bar were lot harder to file by hand cleaning them up.  Then what I was used to.  Was it just me or are they?

If they make the file shiny and ruin it, they are pretty hard

Yes, files don't work on them. You'll just knock the teeth off the file.

Thank you all for confirming this.  I thought WTH my file must be shot and then tried a new file.

I got a 197? Jonsereds 70E in my collection in near mint condition,  all the decals are near perfect even
Its got a Tsumura bar on it with the painted letters still on it. I just put a raker file to it's rails and yup plenty hard, it's also got a nice old 3/8 Stihl semi chisel chain on it with straight verticle front depth gauges......do I keep this never used b/c just to look at or stick them on one of my work saws and enjoy it? ??? ;D

Speaking of tough hard bars the original German made 28" Stihl bar that originally came with my 1992 066 Mag Artic I'm  still running today on my 395XP. Longest running bar I ever owned.

I remember BITD at our logging camp us fallers tried these Tsumura bars and we found the bar nose joint was weak.....
A lot of broke and bent bars so we stuck to the Oregon Power Match and Windsor Speed Tips.

That 2nd link Nate shared is nice.  It is the applaction guide with part numbers etc.

I just found that bar I got used. Shows T434PV4 and replaceable tip to use 3/8 11T TLOR38.
So now to see if the bar I have still uses this part number.

Thanks Nate for sharing link on your website.

Didnt flip back thru to see if this has been posted before but here is the Tsumura catalog. For the most part the part numbers match up with the Total Super part numbers.

Sold the stihl 20" yesterday to the guy wanting one and reason for my order of bars. Thought I would try the D009 20" on the poulan 83cc. Looks pretty good.
