Wayne had a big turn out for his show. All i remember is jody won the 3 cube. Jay got 5th in the 4 and 4th in the 5 cube and won the hotsaw. Jody and jay feel fee to hope in here!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Jody isnt here but that evil twin is ;) That new 3ci must be flying to get 1st down there and bet it is getting stronger + faster the more he runs it.
Good job Jay on the hotsaw win. I know it takes a good operator to make those 3 cuts cold start racing a saw that fast. WTG
Those Bertrand and Helsel hotsaws were quicker then I could think and I should have just stuck with the 166 hotsaw. By the way was the 166 down there this year?
-
Thanks, that saw is a hand full, it wheelied with me on the start but got it under control just in time. after it was over and i got to thinking about it, it scared the crap out of me lol. i didnt see the 166 but i wasnt looking that much so it could have been there. Jody did real good running his 3 good job to him.

Right to left. Wayne Slayton and Jay Coffman
Jay won Hotsaw, 5th in 3ci, 2nd in 4ci and 5ci, 3rd in 6ci. He also won the mechanical champion.
Steve only ran 3 classes. 2nd in 6ci and bad runs in 3ci and hotsaw.
-
What is "mechanical champion"? I have have never heard of that one!
-
I think the mechanical is the chainsaw classes only portion of the show.
Then the other champion is axe, chops, crosscut etc. I dont know what this one is called but could be Manuals Champ. No clue really.
Overall best finishes in each totaled.
Hey Steve???

Hey Steve???
Yes Kevin you are right. The mechanical is the chainsaw classes. Waynes show pays 5 places. 1st place is 5 points 2nd 4 and so on down to 5th place. After all the saw classes run, all the points are added up and the points champ is awarded. One year Wayne and Joe tied so they totaled the cuts times up and Wayne won.
-
Dang what a tie breaker.
Thanks Steve.
-
Hmmmmmm........I like it! If scheduling permits I sure would like to be there next year.
