Title: GreenWorks 40V mini tiller

After buying the wife a electric greenworks power washer she was wanting me to get for her. 
Over my ole gas one I already have but need new gun and wand.  Sometimes a pita.

I had looked for one in in the past in the B&D 20V 40V but they didnt have one. As nobody else had one that I could find either.

I found something interesting in greenworks  little book,  I have been looking for, for the wife to use over the 2 stroke mini tillers.

I have a corded, electric tiller that I found at a garage sale a few years back. Wasn't looking for one, but . . .

It's a Remington 'Garden Wizard' - about the size of a Mantis tiller. 12 Amps. Works well turning over our small, established, city garden patch.  Simple. Convenient. Low maintenance. Only use it for an hour or 2 per year (unless neighbors borrow it), so that works out for me.

Will be interested to hear how your 40V version works.

Sorry - thought you had pulled the trigger on that one.  If you can use the batteries in other stuff, it might be interesting to try.  If it is for once a year use . . . .

I meant to add that I would not want to use my electric tiller for breaking up sod, or maybe even establishing a new garden in hard soil.

BTW - Lowe's has some Father's Day sales on battery operated OPE - you might find a deal on a tiller as well.

I have a guessing 36" pull behind tiller for breaking ground. Plus a thing 5hp 24"  front tine for breaking up ground.

We only use mini tillers for weeding garden when it is in and flower beds.  Flower beds are done this year and skipped the garden.

I think Philbert has the right idea, battery opperated stuff could be expensive to re-battery if it is only used once a year.   I would be inclined to go with a cord, possibly would have more power too.   Now is the time for me to admit that I have no garden and no tiller.    :-X
