Just passing this info on here is someone interested.

Friend contacted me and wants to sell a husqvarna 181 NOS thin ring piston still in the box. $200

Ouch.  I'd like to have a spare......but for $200 I'd settle on 5 Meteor 281XP piston kits instead.

I think the price is because they are used for the 5ci racesaws.   Same for 2100 one for 6ci racesaws.

I didn't know they made a thin ring 181....I have a 181 racesaw but it has a 2100 cylinder and thin ring piston on it :)

LOL that wouldnt fit our 5ci rules.  What class you race it in out there?

My 181 I sent to Calif was thin ring saw. Aaron got it.

There is a 181 thin ring piston bidding off on Ebay.  Also a NOS 2100 piston.  Don't remember ring size  was $225.00 IIRC.

I've only ran it once at a show and I ran it in 5 cube lol...shhhhhh!!!!

Thats him. Didnt know he was going to ebay them. Cool now you might save a ton of $ without BIN and just bidding them out.

I'm high bidder on the 2101 slug for now, but my low bid doesn't meet the reserve.  Whoever  I outbid had a really low max bid...
