Title: Sachs Dolmar Identification
Post by: Giles on January 05, 2017, 11:45:18 am
I have a SD on bench that I am rebuilding. The ID plate was all but destroyed by jumped chain and is unreadable.
It is a 44mm bore (Closed Port) with two piston rings.
How can I determine if it is a 111 or a 115?

111 is 44mm bore. But your saw looks like a totally redesigned 111 from the old one I'm looking at.

Should be a 115 if closed port and 2 ring piston.
