Title: Echo CS355T---opinion
Post by: Giles on March 28, 2017, 02:35:12 pm
I have a couple of these and they are great running saws. After carb and muffler mods, they run very close in performance to the Stihl 200T that I sell.
Tested them side by side but I feel the 200T is better balanced.
What is strange, is that I sell saws on CL and have had both these listed for two months with very little interest?
One is $250 and looks new, other, not as nice is  $175.
I can sell an older Gray CS330 or 360 for more then these??

Thinking they are $349 new.  I always figure half of new and up down on condition.

Yes--that's usually the way I price/buy things. But with a pristine low hours chainsaw, I decided I will just keep the nicer one and the other is priced about 1/2 new price with 16" B/C

Lets see pics of the 2 of them?   I'd like to get a 355 over my older echo one someday.

Nice looking pair.  8)   How they feel balance wise 1 handing?

Now I just told a guy yesterday I was going to use my NCAA bracket wins from work for a gun if I won. He has a nice slim very small 9mm CCW.
As it looks like nobody can pass me the next 3 games left.

Preview is bottom right and right of where you click post.

Yes--I click on "preview" and post appears with no photos showing. Actually loaded THREE photos and only one downloaded?
I sell a lot of Stihl 200T and have ran these side by side and with same modifications done to 355T as the 200T, there seems to be very little difference to me.
Without muffler and carb mods 200T is faster.
I have had buyers interested in a 200T and they say balance is better to them with 200T. Both having 14" Bars.

I liked the balance of my 338's over my 200T.  So I wonder where that would put the 355 on my wants for that reason.
I think I have a 341 TH I am using around the house now.

Got me on other part.  :-\
