I have a Dolmar 120si that uses the 3 shoe clutch. I broke one of the clutch shoes and need just the shoe or I would go for a complete clutch.
If anyone has a parts saw or clutch they are not in need of. Thanks.

Got a question. Searching 120si IPL no 3 shoe shown. But on 120 120s showed 3 and 2.
Is it one of those deals like poulan 3 shoe and 2 shoe on 380 3450 3750 etc?

Yep I noticed that too. It could be like the poulans but I do not know for sure. I am hoping the crank size for the clutch is the same on the 120 and 120 super.
the 120 is only 60cc and the 120 super is 68cc. We shall see.

Well I have a Dolmar 119 here and decided to take the clutch off of it to see if it would work on the Dolmar 120si. Worked like a champ. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical but you never know.
The Models as they were developed. First was the 119 then the 120 then the 120 super and then the 120 super injector or si.
It is good to know that the clutch from a 119 will fit the 120si. So the one I got from Chainsawr should work great.
I did notice the clutch shoes themselves are a little bit different so you cannot interchange the shoes but if replacing the entire clutch then no problem.
You would never know this from looking at the parts list.

Good to know the info. Roger want me to move this to the dolmar board now so others will know from it?

Yep I was thinking the same thing. Good info to share in the Dolmar thread. Thanks.

Saving info Fred and Kensie shared in the CRG
The first gen 120 was 61cc, then became the 119 then the all red 117. At that same time, a new longer stroke 120s 68cc came out. Which lead into the next (same stroke but cc & ignition change, amoung a couple other things) gen SI's...60cc & 68cc. Several different clutches used & inter change as a whole. Hope this helps.
On the crankcase an SI will have two oiler channels for two different bar mounts

keep in mind there is very little difference between the 116Si/120Si and the newer 6000i/6800i except the brake. It is even hard to tell them apart without the numbers on their side.

I have a 119 that came with a 6000i brake assembly on it but haven't had the saw running to test if it worked. When I got the saw it came with the carcass of the 6000i so I guess I can swap clutches if I need to to make the brake function.
