There goes the fed refund.  ;D  Jason will be glad it went to a good home.    ;)

I wish your 440 was stock to compare. I ran one of the first demo 441 that came out and felt it was lacking powerwise except in AV (it was smooth).

Whats different on the C - M ?

The c-m is Stihl's M-tronic carb. It's supposed to be stronger than the stock 441 and the 440......

So does that mean like the husky autotune that is on the 562 or 576?

Oh i will ;). Any body know how many tanks it takes to break these auto tune saws in? Or a new saw for that matter. This is my first new saw.

It seems like 5 gallons or so will be pretty good on a break in. Seems like after that they don't seem to be getting stronger by the tank.

There's a way to calibrate the carb but I don't remember exactly how. It's something like starting the saw without a b/c and letting it stay on high idle for a minute then shut it off and mount the b/c up and cut wood.

Just starting to rain :(. This saw does not have the rpm's that my 440 has or the power. But it is too soon to judge. Very nice AV.

Those are certainly some nice pictures of the saw. You happened to catch the light just right.

I have ran the first tank of fuel through it. It already feels like a different saw for sure. It seemed to be running real rich at first but now its running like it should. I am running a 7T sprocket now and it seems more torqy than my 371. I hope to have it broke in by this summer because i would like to enter it in a county fair stock race this year. I have so many saws right now that need some run time. Its hard to put 100% of my firewood duties on one saw. :(

Nice saw Ron.   ;D

Yep I'm very glad it went to a good home - no doubt about that by any means.

Didn't wanna get get of it but hey, t'was for an indisputable reason....

How you liking it so far Ron....??  My neighbor Dan (the westspartan) has one. He traded in his ported 441 for a 441C-M. He hasn't run it very much but so far he says he likes it a lot more than the standard 441. Word has it they respond real well to porting too....

Hey Jason. Glad to see you over here!!! I like this saw much! You have no idea how hard it was to put fuel and oil in it. LOL :D But,i didn't buy it just to look at. ;D

Thanks for the warm welcome guys I appreciate it!

500th member, eh....??  What's my prize....!?   ;D

Glad you're happy with it Ron. Yeah it woulda been tough for me to fuel that thing as well.  ;)

I'd really like to see how they hold up to milling conditions with that M-Tronic carb. The 576at and that 441 are probably beasts in the milling department if I had to guess - those auto carb gotta make all the difference for sure....

Once broke in, I'm gonna time it against a stock 371, 440 and a stock 7900 with same chain. Just to see how it does.....
