Guy helped me compare a Farmertec G255E easy start to a Stihl 250C easy start.

The farmertec 255/250 version of easy start, works like the 180 version and also looks like it too.

Comparing because the cost for oem parts for this easy start stuff is ridiculous.

I ended up running 3x5 echo on everything. Way better then that crap I took out.

But did notice the 2 for purge were close to being loose but worked.

If I had the smaller I would have used it.But easy enough to change those 2 purge ones.

Stihl oem line sizes for such.

V-modest prototype rear handle 2511.  Not the final product that will be sold in March or after.

We are being teased. But V-modest said look for them on ebay as early as March.

They promised us a rear handle clone 2511 last year but hit some road blocks. Over on chainsaw repair group fb.

Our V-modest dealer here should be able to get some sooner when released. He is teasing us with a 10 part pic release he was sent of whole saw I would guess or has a prototype one.

Only pic we seen teased at us. I was able to tell what it was since owning one in OEM. If I am wrong oh well I tried.

Little fine tuning with the new muffler kit.

I started it without using purge bulb today. Couple pulls all it took still.
1 pull starts after warm.

Calling it good ready for the trip to dads to be a back up 250 easy start to his 180 easy start.

He was wanting a saw to use 18” on too.
So this saw if he can start it covers all bases.

Just need a good day to test and check tune. Before calling it good to take to dad someday.

Being the Farmertec muffler is more open like 025 muffler. Whole square area open and deeper outer slits exiting.
I also used the gasket between the heat shield and muffler.
None was there on 250 set up.

So want to make sure where is at since last session with the 250 muffler.

Also some heat tape layers under and side of plastics where old muffler was ran loose and melted up some.

I read that thread awhile ago . Very informative. Lately I've been seeing the Quad ring ( 530019029 ) on line. I know it has been NLA for years so I was surprised to see it on line. I would like to have the impulse and manual oiler working.

It is super light so I'm leaning toward  magnesium. Thanks for the  reply.

Looks like they did a Farmertec G466 Pro.  Look at all those upgrades listed in pic.

Scotty said the Carbon Pro version supposed to have the wide cover. No clue on bigger double spikes or not, but dont show it. For like 10 bucks more. pic of it below too.
