I always check craig's list for them just never see them. I even look at cities that are over 150 miles away nothing. I have pawn shops looking in the cities. I call dealers every other week to see what they have nothing or box store stuff I don't care about. Mostly around where I live it is corn and soy bean fields no big trees just cotton woods is the biggest it goes.I live on a farm but I don't farm no more I rent out the land. I would give anything to have a 395 or a 066 that would be worth rebuilding. I been looking snice I was in my teens..lol.. Just all junk out there either parts are N/A all together and shot or all  45ccs and a dran few 50ccs. The 576xp I got picked off of dealer about 2 years ago he was the only one to sell husky around here for over 100 miles. Everything is all green poulans. And if it is a Stihl they never trade in fix and the same goes with jonsereds. Like I said there is not any good dealers all box store like wally world crap. There is a ton of Stihl dealer around almost in every mid town sized now. The closest city to me is 90 miles away. I live in the middle of farm country and small towns like 800-2000 pop..lol.. I would really like to have a nice big saw to have the rush of the power ;D. But I never give up ;).

Check out some of the timber guys around there. It is not worthwhile for a timber cutter to have a saw more than a couple years as a front line saw.

I don't know where you live but you can bookmark a Craig's list search for just Husqvarna and just in Abilene, KA for example.

I never found anything I was looking for right away. It would take me a year to stumble upon something worthwhile.

Yea I search the list that way to in 5 cities around for years. Nothing that is worth anything. Like I said all box store stuff on there. I still look every other day thou. Every tree person I know they run them in to the ground and fix.. Tight butts I tell you they never let anything go.I tried alot over the years. I found a jonsred early 625 for 300 in good shape. I don't think it would be worth it . Being I am redoing my 2165. What do you think? I found it on ebay. I did think about putting a 670 p&s on it. But I would have more in then what it would be worth. I would not mind to have another 70cc saw. I got that 576xp.Yes I can not get enough saw..lol ;D.. I have my share of 45-50's. 2- 60cc ones. I would not mind having that 362xp on here for sale that looks new. I love to rebuild is my troubles.. ;D.. Long day been up snice 4 am. Time to hit the sac.

Use the blue "REPLY" at the bottom of this post instead of the "Quick Reply" box.

At the bottom of the editor there is an area That says "ATTACH:"

Below that is a box and inside the square there is a smaller square with the word "Browse" inside it.

If you click on browse, it will show your picture directory and you select one of your pictures.

Sometimes the pictures are too big.

I will post pix of it sooner or later. Just been busy. Is it worth reringing it being it has 140psi.. What should it be for psi in the cylinder. I think 140 psi is a bit to low. But know nothing on this saw 2165. Let me know

Thanks

They were not know to have high compression numbers.

It is in pretty good shape.

Look at the trading sections of forums.

There are several forums which have saws of all sizes & models for sale.  One advantage is the members will generally treat you right.  If there is a questionable ad, other members are quick to call it out & save you from having a poor experience.

You may not find the exceptional deal, but your risk of a bad deal is much smaller.
