What are the most popular models of jonsered saws out there? Ex-2152/2153/830/2172. New and old does not matter.

I think the question would be area specific...for example, we don't have gaint trees like the PNW does, so we can get by with say a 2152, but out there it would really benefit no one to have it.

I only have two, and those were gifted to me from a timber cutter in Wisconsin....

2186 Turbo
2094

If I were to purchase one, I think it would be a 50cc class or a top handle.

No Jreds in my area either.  Stihl or Husky.  When I say Dolmar it's what's that never heard of it.
Most popular carb kits for Jred IMO would be Tillotson RK23HS 625-670, Walbro K10-HD 2171-2172, K24-HDA 2157-2159.
Can't remember Zama # for mid size late models 2152, etc.

Don't know that this helps but I have a Cs2159C & an old (two coils) 670 West Coast.
Red isn't a popular color in my area.

Not real popular here either, up north close to the Canadian border they are very popular. There are some older models that are still running and still very popular 820/830, 920/930. The 9 series saws are very popular with collectors, l tried to buy one that came in the shop (930), offered up to $500 guy would not take it!

There are no honest to goodness Jonsereds dealers within 40 miles of my house. You don't normally see them on Craig's list locally. I see plenty of them at the GTG's though.

As far as dealers go, The local Husqvarna dealers may as well just be box store sellers. One is a tool rental place and the others are all city hardware stores. The rental outlet seems to have a 60 day turn around on even the slightest repairs and the repairmen have to work on all kinds of equipment.

There is one true Stihl fix-em dealer who does repairs within 20 miles of my house. They work full time on Stihl POE. Some of the others have a part time (retired) guy that fixes them at his home shop or they send them somewhere else to be repaired or maybe even have a certified repairman but he works mostly on other equipment.

There is timber falling always going on around here but the majority of chainsaw use is firewood. To the West is big grain farms. To the East is mixed agriculture.
