:o  to much for me  :o.  WTG figuring this all out.
Thanks Cut4fun,
nothing is very complicated as computers of these days, but they are only too obsolete, and not so first in run. So they give me reminiscing feeling in my mind.

Yes Chy, it can be a lot of fun understanding how these old saws work, and to get them going again after maybe 30 years or more ,some parts are no longer available so we have to make bits and pieces ..all good fun..
Not many people these days are mechanicly minded and lack the skills to repair and make things.
Do you have it running yet?

Good evening Dave, yes making parts is really fantastic job to do. I am now wanting to learn how-to of magnesium welding, for which a member here does very good, but what I need as my first step is getting a TIG welder for this purpose.

Do you have it running yet?

Yes I did it, see this;

Thanks Dave, I thought I should make some cuts with her, but my second thought did not let me go, she is too old! So since then she has been sitting in my shed like a queen, lol.

She has been missing starter handle, so made up my mind to try making one out of a hard wood. A plum tree makes its branch coming out in high angle, sometimes it gives rectangle, which seems to be very much fitted for the handle.
