FWIW the kill switch is the type used that had a popit type decomp which I've never seen on a 10-10 .Down and forward set the decomp up and forward operated the kill .

I have this type on a 70 cc 6-10 .When I get a chance I'll scan through the big black book and see if any others used this type .

You have to keep in mind these things were built all over the world .What we night encounter in North America they might not have had in Europe or Australia or vica versa .

I don't have 30 of the 10 series but I have quite a few .I'd have to take inventory to know how many .

Glutton for punishment maybe but It's something I can fix and parts interchange nicely. I someday hope to have a complete set of the 10 series saws.  I have yet to see a 10 10e here in oz so that will take some hunting . I think I have a 2 10 super with that type of switch, will check to be sure

I don't think the 10-10E was a big success .Just a fadish thing that never sold well .I've never seen one either except pictures .

As far as the 10-10 itself they must have made millions of them .I think the production run must have spanned 25 or so years .Fact I have one of the last of that series ever made which is the larger displacement 3.5 cubic inch model which looks nearly brand new .That is surprising in itself because it was originally purchased by a tree trimmer in I think '98 and was never used much .If it had been the thing would have gotten beaten  to a pulp .

I stumbled accross a pic of that later model 10-10 .It's a one in the back of the 805 .For some reason those tree trimmers would remove the brake handle which I've since replaced since the picture was taken .

Man that's really cool.  Never seen one of those in person (or in a photograph).  IIRC that style is mentioned in the 10-series Workshop Manual.
