The very unoffical Super Pro 820
« on: March 20, 2011, 09:07:49 pm »
Just a few years before McCulloch done a backflip out of Karting they were getting involved in building a replacement for the Kart engine 101d and work was underway for a chrome bored 133cc monster little is really known of this engine but was labelled the Mc 102 now since these have been squirrelled away by keen karters and they just jump up on ebay everyday then a fella has gotta build his own.

I bought a Westbend/US Power Copperhead variation there Vintage Version at 134cc for starters its chrome bored like the supposive 102 has porting very similier and once fitted to the SP125C frame then i should have something that never happened heres my version the SP820 Copperhead.

I now have all the ingrediants to build a 133cc SP125 with pure Mac parts it will be made from a SP125 cylinder bored .120th o/s with a Wiseco piston and rings an SP125C crank with the large diameter wrist pin bearing crank will be modded to be full circle and fitted ports will be squared for port area.

This saw i will run in the visually standard class over 100cc

McBob

Origionally i planned and run this engine in a boneshakin Root frame looked good ran hard but those shakes
I am a idiot so my pics disappeared.

Where in the world did you ever find a 120 over Wiseco? I knew Wiseco made 100 over but never heard of a 120 over . Horstman made the stroker cranks but that stuff has to be as rare to find now days as a hens tooth .

taken from its homeland and captured by heathen, pagan, canniblistic Speed-Demons in a far and foreign land... dis-membered... it's little heart cut out... limbs and body parts scattered uncaringly and promiscuously around on the far South Pacific sands by Koobdooga Kannibles  :o :o ... far away from its native home and neighbors and loved ones in distant Dorothy and Toto's yellow brick road homeland...
