things conn. rod

....didn't want to clog up a good thread.

-had no measurements of a 460
-do have actual measurements of the jonsereds 52

working with those, hope to show effect of adding 3 mm to the length of the conn rod

stock rod = 41.23 mm
stock stroke = 32 mm

coon rod to stroke ratio:
= 41.23/32 = 1.29

+3mm conn rod to stroke ratio:
= 44.23/32 = 1.38

ratio difference = 0.9
yielding a 6.5% increase.

now, taking a look at the infamous dwell

...this is at about 10 degrees BTDC.......the air/fuel mix is just starting to burn

.......true, there is a hair more dwell.

......there is something a bit more important than this.  unfortunately i don't have the ability to make this particular program graph the more important thing.

encourage you folks to develop your own conclusions.  numbers are numbers ......as far as dwell is concerned.
