ran into some older blue line on a weedeater it will not swell at all.    where it enters fuel tank may even shrink slightly. allowing tank to leak may be best to use plastic grommets. to prevent future leakage

SOB I must have used both sizes of the LP-1100 up notta left.  @Eccentric you got a piece of 1100 you could send him?

I got the LP-1200 cut just now in the small .80 and made sure 1200 could be seen on it.

I think I do.  Will have to look.

Hobby shop nitro fuel tubing (4140) swelled considerably ........... i consider it the first to fail with ethanol in the gas

Interesting though, my hedge trimmer has this tubing on it for a few years now, only seen gasoline without ethanol and VP SEF

All other tubing is looking good as of now

This stuff is very soft and ultra flexible, made to conform to small areas in model planes. I believe it is vastly different from anything Tygon has for fuel. I will try to snip a piece for you between getting home later tonight and leaving early tomorrow morning

Looks like I will take lunch tomorrow and hit the Post Office .......... (AWS needs re-certifying too).

Have @Gatekeeper chains and some other stuff going out with yours

That 4140 never did hold up to even the old regular non ethanol gasoline.
We should share what we know... someone may learn...

The nitro fuel hobby shop line will most likely be silicon.  That stuff is intended for methanol fuel with varying amounts of nitromethane in it.  The swelling you're seeing has nothing to do with the ethanol in your fuel.  It's the gasoline.  Silicon line has no tolerance for gasoline....

Dammit I forgot to check to see if I had any 1100LP to send out.  Been so busy lately that I don't know whether to wind my butt or scratch my watch.....
