I probabley have at least a dozen of the military style 5 gallon cans but only one of the round type .I prefer the later which is an "old iron sides " made in Delphos Ohio .

They got on that OSHA kick several years ago and made such a fool proof can that fools like me can't hardly get the gas in or out of them .What prompted all that nonsense I have no idea but instead of spill proof you slosh more gas around trying to open the lid than you normally would do on just a standard old can which is not standard any more it seems .Why did they have to take something as simple as a gas can and make it complicated and expensive to boot .
