LOL I get it now.  Never had that problem myself, thank goodness.

SDB777 = Scott?

Also you mill and sale slabs?  You can list your website (Links) etc in your sig here for free.
It's all about sharing info here,  where to buy parts, help others with knowledge etc.

Actually, she's quite 'forgiving' considering what she has got herself in to with me.

Yes, the SDB777 is what I have used all over the 'net for years....I'll pretty much answer to anything, but Scott works well too!

I have a small hobby sized LT-10 Wood-Mizer with the 10hp engine upgrade bandsaw mill in the backyard.  I use to do most of the milling with the Stihl 064 wearing the 36" ripping set-up, but I found the need to reduce the amount of time and 'waste' I was dealing with by using the chainsaw milling.  What use to take me 15 minutes with the chainsaw mill, I can do in about 2 minutes on the bandsaw(and the cut is so much better).

Most of the stuff I mill gets processed way down, and then sold as pen, bottle stopper, and small bowl blanks.  I typically do not sell many 'slabs or flitches' due to the size/shipping costs.  But I have been known to slab, mill timber for locals here on the cheap!  In fact, I sometime trade out milling labor costs for some of the timber(if it's something I can use/resell).  I really like the timber that most would walk past thinking it is too rotted or whatnot to bother with!  Spalting is my cha-ching!!!(although there is not that much profit, it pays for some 'toys')

I'll toss the link into the signature...thanks!  Always like to know it's okay to do it, before doing it!

Scott (I'll have a LOT of questions really soon) B
