Pretty sure that these clam shell engine cranks are all the same according to the part no.... The P&C are the only difference at least as far as my IPL research went, and I looked up all the speakers for sale prices and found the 42cc to be the cheapest price for the set. So I thought cheapest...biggest....go for it and now it's my most reliable bucking saw.

My biggest problem is how does that stinking oil pump work? The tank is not pressurized and it's just a rotating shaft with a hole in it????

it is surely the cheapest but what about performance?

Visually the 2150 42cc and 36cc transfer ports look identical size and shape (to me) as well as the intake and exhaust ports. I now have a 42cc PP221 which is AV and WAS an intenz type bar. However the cylinder part # is different, So I'm curious if the cylinder porting is different.   otherwise no substitute for cubes...

I've got some variation of that .It has a spring type of suspension system ,Never could figure exactly which model of Poulan it is .Runs .325 chain .

I tweeked it a tad and it runs like a scalded  ape --for about two cuts then leans out fast .I suspect seals but that's as far as I've gone with it .A "work in progress " just like many more I guess .
When that happens to me, it's usually the fuel filter has either come off, or the line is **** somewhere...good luck!  By the way it's "pole-un" !)

The pump shaft has a flat cut in the end of it .Every rotation it just picks up a little squirt of oil and shoves it out the other side .One would not think it should work but it does .
