I am glad that you prefer the newer series over the 3400/4000 series however; means we're not competing for the same saws (and are open for more trades in the future).  That's also why I don't mind your prejudice against reed valve saws (although I do give you **** about it from time to time). 8)

The older and the  reed saws are stronger and built like a tank.  I just prefer the newer stuff.

I cant say anything bad about them besides the little extra weight they have.  They just aint my cup  tea is all, a preference thing.

It'd be boring if we all preferred the same saws. 8)

That is why I like them both.   Although I do like the newer ones a little more but not enouph to get rid of my 4000's and 3700's.

Freaking bull crap luck. In my search for a certain craftsman 3.7  I turn up another 4000 and 3.3 so far.  The 4000 I cant pass up even though not a saw to my liking even though they cut great like a mule and any 65cc out there.  Owned a nice running 4000 before and sent it down the road, will do the same with this one once in my hands.  I just prefer the newer 415 425 3750 380 etc saws.

I have a pic but will wait till in my hands.

Those 4000's do make great bartering saws

I cant believe what people are wanting for them on other sites. Plus what they are bringing on feebay.  $350-$375 plus shipping. Nuts IMO.

If I dont have to touch this 4000 should be in the 200 range or right trades.

I like the 4000's and I think they are great saws but there has been a lot of hype about them also.   I have 2 395's and 2 4000's and really, I like my 3700's that I have tweaked just as well if not better for half the money that they want for those 4000's.    The one 4000 I have came from Nik aka fatguy that was ported I believe by Brad.   Nik sanded and polished the bar and then blued it.   The saw runs good but the bar is is really nice looking.

I cant remember the psi figures for this series of saws. Know some were higher and lower.

3400
3700
4000

Owner of the 4000 said this one has 160psi. Sound about right for these?

Also I am thinking my last one was all green with blue gold stickers.

I seen Gregg's later one with black rear handle and black stickers.

This one from what I can see on recoil side. Has black rear handle and blue gold stickers.
