If not I'll try and do it later.

Here is what I came up with for the poulan 4000 thin rings in pic above.

.022"    or 0.55mm

I measured the ones I have and came up with .023" and .55mm.  So I would say they are the same just depends on how much pressure you put on the dial indicator.  I used two different indicators for inches and millimeters.
