Key Poulan shared this old poulan logo. He said it was also done in blue.

Key Poulan If you want to go really old school, here's one of our old logos. These were also done in blue.

Guy at work had bought a partner 5000 new and I about crapped at the price he said paid back in the 80's.  Cant remember off hand what he said but thinking in the 400's.

A McCulloch 77 (120cc gear drive) cost something like $599 plus the cost of the bar and chain back in 1957.  Using an on line inflation calculator, that's $5,141.85 now.  Holy crap!

A Poulan 8500 with a 36" b/c cost $749.99 in the 1986-1987 list above.  That's $1,622.98 now.

A 1947 Mercury Disston KB-7AY (245cc/15ci twin that could run a 10' bar with 3/4" pitch chain) cost something like $800 new.  That's $8800 now!
