Who had these made?

No clue where they are made at.  WAG China, Taiwan I would reckon.  Red Barn having them done and they seem to have up and down results with the ones made.

Know Caber and oem clips for sure if I ever check one of their pistons out. JMO

Info today. I hope they do a good quality on these. If not will just keep using stihl 066 piston when needed.

It will look like the 2077 piston item number 141531960444 but will be 54mm
The mold is made they are casting this week a order of 3,000 pistons for me and the Jonsered 2083 54mm is on that order, once the cast, machine, inspect, box will take approximately 15 days and then ship to me, as soon as they arrive I'll change the picture here on ebay
Thanks
Lee

Just sharing some info.  Was told that a exact copy aftermarket 505 2083 54mm piston should be for sale in a few weeks. Instead of the aftermarket 54mm one that looks just like a 066 piston.

More info = The piston mold cost me a $1,000 to have made, I can have any oem piston made, just need to turn numbers to pay for tooling
Check back in about 2 weeks for a update on when they will be here

If anyone trys these let us know. New aftermarket 54mm piston. poulan pro 505 jonsered 2083 piston  503723502

After using the Meteor piston for a 066 in the Poulan 505 I do not think I would go to anything else unless it was a OEM piston.
PP 505, 475, 445.

About how I feel too and the 064 meteor for the 475 2077 2083II.  Even though the BB372 aftermarket is a drop in for 475. Just not as nice a piston as meteor puts out.

Kevin,

What's your opinion of the 415? This line of saws are rarely seen in my area. I ran Roger's 445? (70cc or so) at a GTG and was impressed by it.

I was wondering if the 415 was a fast 65cc saw?

Thanks

Tim

415 425 is a 48mm version of the 50mm 445. Great cylinder IMO and one of the strogest fastest cutting 65cc I have ran.

Only thing I think will make it better is a different piston in the 415 425. The oem p is lacking IMO but runs goooood.  I think a piston like in the 445 would be better pick. Yep husky makes that piston too.

Right 415 425 445 style
