If anyone want to change their pick let me know?  Testing in 10x10 now instead of 12x12 per DexterDay.

The poll shown above was for 12x12, now changed to 10x10.

Makita is not fixed yet. Fuel line and carb kit should be here tomorrow.

I ordered a new Cant Today. It was MUCH cheaper to go 10" x 10" x 10'. Because I plan on buying 2 saws in the very near future? 

So can the thread title be edited?  I apologize..

Edited to 10x10. Yeah no problem.

Did you do the 562 665 in the dry 12x12 cant?

No.. I have the chains. Been working a lot of O.T at work.

I will get to it soon. 

I went with the 10" x 10" for 2 reasons.

They said I can possibly get it longer (like 14') and it will be lighter. Those 12" x 12" x 10' Cants were heavy.

Soon as my son heads off to college. I am going to sink into some OT myself.  So far this year I havent as I want every weekend I can spend with him golfing etc.

Heck 10x10 x 8 cants are  :-X heavy to me .  I couldnt have imagined the 12x12 x 10   :o

 I didnt time. But I wouldnt count the 1st two cuts by 562 hitting the knots.

JFYI the 562xp was woods ported in the video. Go stock unbroken in 665 go.
