So who got the NIB NOS solo 675 last night for $560 shipped.  Great deal IMO.

That is the 2nd 675 and 1 665 so far looking back at their history. The 665 was under $500 before shipping of $30.

Wow.  Glad I didn't see that 675.  Would have been tempted.

Not me I had to make myself not bid on it.  Things are only a good deal if you're in "need" not want.  Saw the Poulan 8500 dang it man.  Maybe one day.  Need to trim the herd a bunch.

Shep

Was that 8500 NOS?

For older saws:
Tune the H side so that it 4-strokes (burbles) at WOT unloaded and just cleans up when under load.
When you lift cutting load, the saw should immediately revert to 4-stroking.  Fine tune the transition point for the wood you're cutting.

Friend selling a used solo 675 for $250 plus ship.

Says just shy of 150psi, needs a motor mount and traded to him as not running. Said piston etc looked good. Maybe air leak or carb he thinks WAG.

Damn.  I may need to pull together some more saw funds for that one.

Guy from NC looking at the 675 said he has one of the 665 's with the tweaked cranks in it. So he is looking for a crank.

Seller of the used 675 had a 681 that crank did the same thing.  He has another 681 stock that has been ok.

I'm  just scared of them do to this and never bought one because of this even when thay have been sold for the $400 665's new.

@adam32 didnt you buy 2 of them, any work usage or just racing?  Holding up?

I sold one to Adam Clarke, he's going to make a racer out of it and mine is still new in the box.
