I love that twin cylinder sound.  That's a big ticket model that I might have to pony up for some day.  I've ran the Echo twin, and while it's cool..............it doesn't do it for me.  Since it's a simultaneous firing twin, it sounds just like a single to my ear.  It is a very smooth saw and a cool piece of engineering though...

Right!

The Echo Twin is nice but the Solo has that magic twin sound.

As I had mentioned before I had ran Larry S's twin .It wasn't the fastest saw of that displacement but it cut effortlessly and very smoothly .It's a very collectable saw to say the least .

Yes your right Al nice saw for its day but outclassed today and far too heavy I have a couple here and a half a twin which needs a few bits to finish it off

Just bought a set of pistons and cylinder for the big bore 110cc Solo Twin out from England and here's the proof they do exsist

Well the pair of big knockers arrived today ............ 110cc ....... must get back to the machine shop and get them fitted up to suit the new bottom end i have here ..... did some-one say big bore
