Those look like tiny disc sander pads .

The ones Randy showed are used with Roloc discs that have a short, threaded stem.  The ones I showed were made to interlock with ScotchBrite type pads. There are also smooth ones for sticky back (PSA) sandpaper, hook-and-loop varieties, etc., etc.

Of course, with a hole saw and a thin piece of plywood or conveyor belting, you could cut a disc, insert a cut-off bolt and a 'T' nut, and make any kind or size you wanted.  Or take a utility knife and make a stack of ScotchBrite discs, stars, etc.

Holy crap I tried this tonight, works GREAT, some 1/4 bar, cut it.  I also put the scotch bright in the little mandrle and it worked fine if you can't find the disk thingy.
