Thanks a lot for the information. I'll order one of those tillotson in the next day or so. Is the WJ76 hard to find? I looked around but didn't see one. I guess I'm crazy but I bought two of those saws. About three weeks after the first one, $276, they had a sale going on and I got the second one for $216. Sometimes I feel like a 60yr old kid.
Thanks Again,
DJ

I sold my woods ported 066 with 32" and chains for $600. Stock MS660 muffler modded with 25" and chains $600. Traded a ported 066 PHO for $500 worth of stuff I sold later.

So I still havent jumped on $200-$300 china bandwagon.  Not when I know I can get 2188 390xp new in 8 range PHO.

I couldn't find any used big saws around here. I wish I had waited and looked farther from home. It was kinda fun putting it together, not that fun though and as far as the second one, I think I lost my mind.

I ordered a Walbro WJ76 and caber rings. I put a 98cc cylinder on it right after I got it. I didn't notice any difference but all I've done is mill three 18"or so red oak logs one with 54mm and two with 56mm, the carburetor didn't act right to me either, Maybe the new carburetor will be better.
Thanks for all the information.
DJ.

I feel the wj-76 pushes more fuel and has a better fuel curve that matches up real good with the 660 than the Tillotson HS 320. The Tillotson is a good carb. Just did not like how it ran the couple of times I tried them. If I remember right the Venturi is smaller on the Tillotson as well.
FEAR NO TREE. FEAR GOD.
