Put the stock one back on.  You will likely gain nothing in performance, and you risk the integrity of your bottom end if the aftermarket top end lunches.  There is a reason the Stihl OEM top end costs $300 and the chicom one is $79.  Any idea what the piston to cylinder clearance is on that hls kit?  It is .002" on the Stihl.  How about the machining tolerance?  .0005" on the Stihl.  Is there even a spec on the cylinder cross hatch in the hls cylinder?  I doubt it, but there is on OEM.

took the big bore back off, after i cut a load of firewood it started to knock when the saw was at an idle,so i thought it was the rist pin i put the oem in the bb didn't change nothing so i put all the stock back on runs good with no noises.could the piston not be machined right and slapping the cylinder wall  because there is a lot of play between the piston and cylinder

Yes, that is probably piston slap.  That would be the piston to wall clearance I mentioned earlier.  Left un checked, the piston skirt will break off and fill your bottom end with bits of metal.  If the stock top end is not strong enough, a trip to a reputable porting shop should fix things.

Steer clear of the AM 441 cylinders.   Stihl themselves have enough issues with ring hanging due to pin placement.

I didn't mention any names on purpose.  There are several folks on these forums who can make a stout runner out of that saw.  Not all of them are doing it full time, like Mitch.
