Quite frankly it's almost an exercise in futility to just clean a carb without installing new diaphragms and gaskets .Any more with the amount of ethanol in the gasoline you're lucky to get more than 3-4  years out of them between rebuilds if that long .

Here is the verdict. Got it running and it is doing much better. I had to work on the magneto spacing and used the business card as the gauge. Works great now. Had to adjust the LA a little but other than that, it is back to work in the woodyard. Thanks guys.
