Stihl 026 Pro bogging
« on: November 19, 2016, 09:57:59 am »
Saw will run well for a little while & then it starts bogging. It will pick up & then bog down. Fuel filter and gas line were replaced earlier this year. Fresh mixed gas was used.

Carb diaphragms getting stiff?  Put a carb kit in it yet?

Haven't done anything to carb. Was contemplating new carb. Is carb hard to rebuild.

Haven't messed with any adjustments.  Up the "h" screw ; does that mean clockwise or ccw?

30mins to pull and rebuild carb once you learn.  Take your time and take pics as you disassemble first time. Put back together right order.

Also check impulse line for cracks.

If you go clockwise you will make it leaner on H.   I dont recommended this if you dont know where your saw is at right now.

If anything Counter clockwise will richen it up to check.
