Is there any difference early 034 and the later 036 034 tensioners?  I noticed 2 bolts  on this earlier housing and later ones 1.  Coarse and fine thread deals too?  I think I remmeber running across this on 084 and couldnt mix and match.

Not that I have seen. For there pro saws anyway. You get the gear,screw and washer as a kit and the slide by itself. The 1125 007 1021 is just the gear screw and washer for under the gear.

The Forester bar adjuster kit can be had for cheap.
However, fit of the nylon (white) insert is problematic.
Maybe I'm putting it together wrong.

Complaint was bar wouldn't adjust anymore.  Doesn't run right.

1. Tensioner slide broken and the bolt threads all fubarred.

2. My WAG air filter clogged and the tank vent too.

I have found that if you don't tighten up your bar nuts enough. It will mess the threads up for sure on the screw and slide. Did he happen to say what happen to it?

Nope, just said he could feel the tensioner get tight and stop. Didnt want to force anything so brought it to me for a look see.

Most of the local firewood guys will run a chain till it just dusting, not cutting chips anymore. Could just be that too.
