stihl 290 floods on shutdown

Stihl 290 starts once & will not restart due to wet plug, seems to flood on shutdown

The needle and seat of the regulator is leaking in the carburetor. It could be trash and it could be a old stiff metering valve rubber diaphragm.

You need the more complete carb repair kit and to clean out and repair your carburetor.
