Told you guys on page 3 it was a strato saw, just a different approach. Getting a GS461 to demo this week. Have a sale for 1. $2350 plus tax. Saw motor as a 461.

Wasnt for you  ;) was for Art.   Just thought it was pretty awesome video showing the cutting of the concrete saw he was talking about.

Me I could care less how  it is,  as long as it starts and runs when I would want a saw to.

Looking at the images that Cut4fun has posted, could someone try and explain the reason for the clean crankcase and the not too clean cylinder and piston.
In the one I tested  the piston and cylinder had the same appearance.

Joe

The 461 must be a national secret. The boys don't want to talk about it for sure. All I have been able to get so far is that it is "Stihl corrected Husqvarna strato technology" and " it will not work on a motor under 50cc ".

Will keep trying.

Just read this.

MS 461 with a new OEM jug and piston. It was not over heated lost the piston when a dampener behind the piston came lose and hit the piston.

I remember something in a past pic, but trying to figure out what it was.
