Walbro SDC check valve
« on: March 15, 2018, 12:22:34 pm »
I got a sdc carb off a Mcculloch pro mac 700, I would like to buy a carb kit that comes with the check valve if there is such. Anyone know of any? I've found plenty kits don't think they have check valves, that seems to be seperate.
Thanks
DJ

The check valve used to come in original Walbro kits, just a tiny little disc. You needed an original Walbro carb tool kit, which had a little miniature slide hammer that pulled the brass piece out, then you could replace the disc and tap the brass piece back in.

I think this is the tool kit you are talking about. Walbro 500-500

Someone took out this ck valve by drilling through the plug and the bit hit the brass part. I will need the whole check valve, brass, disk and anything else that goes there, or just a another good carb.
Thanks for the information,
DJ

The SDC was used on various saws over many years, maybe you can find an old carb to take parts from. The little disc probably only came in the Walbro complete kit,not the diaphragms only kit.
