.354 chain

When I first got started in saws being ignorant about chain I bought a lg. box of premade .354 chain 73dl for 20" bar.  Seller said it would work w/.325 sprocket (NOT).  Had it for many years.  Did pickup some .354 rims.  Thought I might try it on a hardnose bar on one of my 3450's if I ever get around to it.  Anybody ever run any .354?

heimannm  =  .354 was a McCulloch special.
I have .050 and .058 and recently I saw a partial roll of .063.

If you don't find another home for it I would be happy to work with you.

Aaron said = It's one of the McOddballs. I think only McCulloch used it (mostly on the X-10 saws). Mark H has some of it. It's fine if you have the sprocket to run it

More by Mark = I have 50' of .050 and 100' of .058 (or vice versa) and a good supply of rim type sprockets. I have never seen any .354 sprocket nose bars so I only run it on hard nose bars.

It is all chipper style chain so not the fastest in a cut, but does hold up well to all day cutting.

In addition, I have maybe 8 new 61 DL loops, and another 10 or 12 used loops.

As Aaron pointed out, something McCulloch tried to make sure people came back to them for the chain.

It you care to pick up a roll or two I'll be happy to pick them up when I pass by your way on 18 September, or I can drop off a few .354 sprockets and you can try some for yourself. Let me know if I need to bring the breaker and spinner along.
