I do not use a chainsaw but i work on them and have parts for them but need some advice from those who use them which chain bars are ok to have besides oregon and gb ?

JMO my firewood guys I take care of want cheap prices. They dont care how pretty the bar makes their saw look for pics (which they dont do anyways).
I have had good luck with the Forester red lettered replaceable sprocket and green lettered replaceable sprocket nose bars. The solid and laminated Carltons. Then the laminated Lasers. All of these have fit in their budgets.
I have read the pro solid Laser is top notch too but pricey.

I dont do Carlton chain as I usually can get Oregon cheaper.

I have some Carlton chain that I use. Some of it I got used and some I bought new. It works well and I have no complaints about the chain. If buying new I usually buy Oregon, just like cut4fun said above I can get it at a good price, and I really like the chisel chain Oregon makes.
