PS PS3 test
« on: December 24, 2015, 04:15:04 pm »
Since the stock chains were only tested near knots and used to cut big block areas off too. That way the clear wood was for the chains sent in.

Want me to test the 2 new PS PS3 stock chains in clear wood.   Could use the echo 3900 39cc then the echo 4500 45cc that is like the OE 346 in the cut.

Go for it.  I would think they are close to one another.

I was surprised to see that the stock PS3 chain was a tad faster than the stock PS chain.

Them bumpers don't slow it down when the tip is exposed. There's other variables like the teeth on that stuff as well.

Never did do back to back cuts. But here they were in the last chain build off on a dozerdan woods ported 026.

That PS3 seems to be a really special loop I made up off a ole reel from 2011.   Same cant at different ends.

It is weird that chain is that fast. I guess that shows the difference in wheels and who was watching the machine making the chain.

The PS3 was run then SF's round and then his SQ, Then my 2. So they are were in the same wood of about 1.5' to 2' worth. Just that ps3 loop extra special.

I know when I made loops from that roll for folks and their small saws like poulans etc. They would be like wow cuts like butter.
