Under $300 to strip, bore re-chrome at Millenium. 

Thats what I remember. Fit piston to your clearance specs too.

Never ran a 6400 let alone seen inside one, besides pics.

We can remedy that about any time!!!!
I have 2 6400's and can't forsee a time in the rest of my life that I don't have one.
They are GREAT saws, and drastically under-rated......IMHO.
