Aftermarket carb? Sometimes you get bad ones. Strato carbs on these known issues.
Plug getting wet still after so called start off.

Coil could be issue too. So unless you have known good one to test. Does it still have spark even after the first try.

Worst case. Be pulling muffler for a look at front of piston and back of cylinder.  Could still happen out of sight on sides. A score with pinned ring.

Not really a saw you want to get a bunch a money in IMHO. Throw away type saw if you cant do it yourself to fix.
