I'd buy a Sachs Dolmar chainsaw brand new. I used to have a Sachs Dolmar 112 and it cut as good  n fast as a Stihl does.

Any brand that that didn`t cost the earth, started easily, was reliable,  didn`t weigh a ton, & spares were readily available

While the PRO chainsaws are the best, what is important is actually the statement above . . . .

I'm with Little Al.  But it would probably be an Efco or a Dolmar.  Efco is still a very good value IMO.
